Full Journal pdf1996-05-07 House Journal Page 4533 HJR 20 Representative Vezey moved and asked unanimous consent that the House consider the Senate message (page 4446) on the following at this time: 1996-05-07 House Journal Page 4534 HJR 20 CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 20(STA) Relating to unfunded federal mandates and the Conference of the States. and the following with a title change authorized by SCR 33: SENATE CS FOR CS FOR HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION NO. 20(STA) Urging the Congress of the United States to pass S. 1629, the Tenth Amendment Enforcement Act of 1996. There being no objection, it was so ordered. Representative Vezey moved that the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHJR 20(STA), thus adopting SCS CSHJR 20(STA), and recommended that the members vote yes. The question being: Shall the House concur in the Senate amendment to CSHJR 20(STA)? The Chief Clerk was instructed to so notify the Senate. SCS CSHJR 20(STA) was referred to the Chief Clerk for enrollment.
